Bébé Voyage

Bébé Voyage is a leading travel blog and community resource for families with young kids who travel. The mission of the organization is to empower parents to raise children to be curious, open-minded and global citizens. They encourage parents to bring up lifelong explorers by exposing them to new cultures and experiences to build a better, more peaceful world for all. Bébé Voyage does this by building a community where travel-loving parents can share and support each other through their travel experiences, while promoting authentic, family-friendly experiences within the travel industry.

Challenge

As an extension of the anti-racism commitment statement, Bébé Voyage didn't have much content that was specifically focused on social justice or anti-racism. There was a need to integrate content that was more fully linked to the anti-racism commitment.

Solution

Elizabeth from Doerr&Co. came on as the Social Justice Editor of the Bébé Voyage blog and, along with a co-contributor, she plans and writes regular content for the conscious travel column. All of the content is focused on providing resources for parents and travelers to engage with the places they visit through a social justice and anti-racism lens. This column kicked off with a three-part resource series specifically about anti-racism which exists as a regular resource on the website.

Deliverables

Writes at least one conscious travel article per month with additional editorial content around sustainability. Created anti-racism and social justice suggestions and style guide content for blog contributors.
