Welcome to Doerr & Co.

I'm excited to introduce a new business meant to take brand storytelling to another level. 

As a freelance writer, I've worked with a variety of clients over the last 5 years to showcase their amazing work. This is an exciting evolution of that work where we are more focused, more intentional, and more mission-driven. The mission and values we bring to our work come out through the specific work that we do and who we work with. 

Doerr & Co. was created to help tell stories about the people and brands that are changing the world. We do this by developing a personal and cohesive narrative to amplify your mission and vision for a better world.⁠⁠ Simply, we help you make your mission matter through the content you put out in the world. We do this by telling your story.

Every person, every business, every brand has a story to tell. Storytelling is a powerful way to help your clients and the larger world make meaning of and process the work that you do. Storytelling can also be an important way to connect your work directly to your mission. By creating strong content, you're creating a larger narrative that specifically illustrates what impact you're making, how you're doing your work, and what you're doing matters.

We help you do this by creating a strategy behind your communications efforts, writing ongoing and strong content rooted in your mission, and linking all of that back to social impact and social justice. 

This blog is part of Doerr & Co.'s story. We'll be publishing content that is linked to our mission and values. Most of the posts will be written by me, Doerr & Co.'s founder. But some posts will be written by other writers—likely those who bring another perspective on social justice and equity. 

I'm excited for this journey and for the new people and brands and businesses I'll get to know along the way. There is nothing better than working with mission-driven people and I cannot wait to share your stories.
